day after christmas. =] beautiful feeling.

i rest my tired bottom on this cushiony couch staring at the lonely piano right across the room having just realized that today is a day of nothingness. Now that i think about it a little bit more, it's a day with no commitments, no homework, and no responsibilities. kind of an odd feeling now to think about it. what to do... and whom i would i take with me. interesting. lemme rethink that over and get back to you.

the past week and a day has been awesome. i've had lots of fun hanging out and doing stuff with people. let's do a recap so i won't forget the awesome CHRISTmas break of 2006...the last winter break of high school.

MONDAI
i was supposed to go find jessica at 12... but apparently my horrible memory told me it was 12:30 and i was late... so therefore.. we couldn't hang out. darn. so i quickly called up some buddiesto see what other options i had..seeing as how i was already out of the house and fortunately jane was available to chillax after her driving school. then i found out that jessica COULD hang out... but it was at 3 and she, becka, matt and jon were planning on watching a movie. i, having other plans at 4, told them i could only hang out will 4 and i needed to leave. jane called me and told me that she couldn't hang out until tuesday so i was kinda bummed out. but that's okay. so i got home at around 5 ish ? and i finished american wedding ! =D

TUESDAI
tuesday was a little less eventful. i watched fun with dick and jane in the morning with my sister. and then i drove over to ed's house and watched american wedding again because we were bored and had nothing to do. after that. i went to pick Jane up from her driving school thingy in penasquitos and we went out for some coffee ! i learned some stuff about her that i didn't know before..but then that's what happens when you hang out with someone you dont know as well. but it was cool though. so i took her home and then that night i believed we watched fun with dick and jane again.. haha cept with the rents.

WEDNESDAI
wednesday i gotta say was pretty awesomely spectacular. i went shopping in the morning w/ joanne and joyce. then my sister came and met up w/ us. after lunch at the japanese place in NC, we took joanne to work. dude. i kept making the wrong turns. like missed teh exit. right instead of left. omg. it was horrible. the result... she was late a lil bit to work. >_____< but that's all good. my sister and i made up for it by buying stuff at jamba. i got one of those chocolate moods.. hmm not bad. cept sixteen had 480 calories.. dannng haha. so my sister and i went out to target and stuff and did a some more last minute stuff before i came home really tired and sick. we watched assault on precinct 13. and i made joanne's present yay! =D

THURSDAI
i watched Old school in the morning..(dang i've watched something everday). Right after that... i left to go meet up w/ yg people to eat lunch at the new panda buffet. it was pretty cool. =D i was like the first one there apparently. umm i didn't eat as much as i expected i would but it's alright. i taught the dude that cooked at the mongolian bbq thingy some english. lol he's an interesting person. i wonder if he's illegal... O___o haaha but yeah. so later i took joanne and joyce over to d.chang's house and played some mario party with them. dude. i got owned.. >____< lol at least joanne liked the present i gave her though! yay !! so yeah i took joanne and joyce home and then joanne and i left for carmel mountain and bowling. so yeah i haven't bowled since like.. the first grade. and apparently i like kicked everyone's butts ? i unno. i bowled a 119. i think ima bowl a lot more now. lol OOHH !! and also i started talking to vicky again ! =D that was pretty cool. we haven't talked much since sophomore year. and so reconnecting was always good. i invited her to our party on friday and so yeah... lol onto friday ! =D

FRIDAI
yeah so i was uuuubbbber pumped about today until...hahaha it actually happened. we all decided to play ball at 1, like the church peeps. so i went up to NC at 11ish to get my dad his present and then i went down to ed's to get lunch and leave for bball. it was super cool seeing everyone. but it was also super sad that i..like sucked butt. =( haha so i played for a lil bit and then i went to play football. i realize that sometimes if you dont play something. beginner's luck tends to help you out. so i scored one of the 11 TD that everyone scored in teh game. how amazing. haha so after that ed and i quickly rushed home, showered and left for the party. we went to pick up vicky. her house was super inside penasquitos and up and down hills and stuff hahaha but that's alright cuz we found her XD tehehe. yeah so we went to the party which was a awesomely cool. good success. around 50 people came. and we were afraid we were gonna be out of food so vince had to get some more pizza and stuff. harrison played some sick music, which i danced to.. but apparently no one else dances at the party hahaha. and the games were horrendous though... such chaos.. yet..such fun ! =D we played the white elephant thingy and that was pretty funny. i ended up getting the extra presents cuz i dnd't get a number for myself. i chose the japanese chocolate thingy for vicky. hahaha which she wouldn't take.. grr. so i had to follow her up to her house to like.. personally hand it over to her. teheheh i win ! =D then we came home and.. i forget what i did lol

SATURDAI
so saturdai was alright. umm i went out with the rents to nozomi to get some lunch and then some chinese herbal store ? lol then we came home. i felt extremely bored so i went to ed's house to play halo 2. hahaha not bad not bad. =D so we chilled for a little bit then i came back to my own house. and uhhh... i forget what we did. hahaha well. i called vicky and talked till like.. 1? not bad =D i haven't had a good fone convo in a while. so yeah.

CHRiSTMAS EVE DAi
okay. so i went to church in the morning. =D and then uhhh yeah hahaha i came home and what not. i didn't wanna go hiking with the rents so i went playing bball instead. MUCH better than friday. haha but ehh... william had his issues or watever. then we had some king crab legs for dinner !!! fo shizzle !! lol =D it was uubbbber cool. and then we opened presents. lol yeah. it's a tradition for our family to open them then. lol. i apparently got two pairs of happy feet LOL. umm a sweatshirt and some other stuff. it was interesting. lol and then we played mahjong. dude. crazyness hahah but everyone was all tired and wanted to sleep so we did.

CHRiSTMAS DAi
yeah so we all woke up and drove up to LA for sme food. some crazy krn bbq buffet. i ate SOOO freaking much. lol and then we drove to lollicup. i got some boba and some fried chicken type thingy. haha and ate all of that. lol so i was super stuffed. we drove back home and guess what we did ? mahjong again !! hahahah spectacular ! yeah and i had one of those uhh "self touch" direct translation. lol type wins. yay me !!! =d i was super excited.

dang. that week past by fast ! and now another week. finish up some appsy stuff and then ima be home free !! hahaha anyone wants to hang out this week ? i'm super bored and i have nothing to do. =D let's chill !!

It's nights like these where i'm up till like 3:30 in the morning running on a couple of cans of coca-cola and some a thing of pringles that really reminds me of the difficult times i went through last year. i wonder how i ever made it through junior year. oh yeah. that's right. by the grace of God. =] therefore. by the grace of God i'll make it through college apps and with flying colors ! tehehehehe

Finally... something to look forward to every night. NBA season has officially started...after a long 3 months wait. Now I can't wait to either be couch potato or a desk potato and just read stats and recaps and watch highlights all night long. I guess it's something to distract me from everything that's going on. But then i still gotta keep my mind on the biggest thing right now. College Apps.

On a different note, this past weekend was crazy. Not in the sense of the things that i did but just in the sense of the emotional roller coaster that i went on. I remember planning to go to Disneyland with Amy and kinda pushing going to Six Flags out of our minds because of the distance i'd have to drive... and it ended up that I went to Emotional Six Flags anyway. Although I've never ridden on the Goliath personally, but judging by the looks of it... O____o it's exactly what i went through this past 22 days. I wanna be honest, this past 22 days was a time period i would never forget, and would remembering vividly during this exciting and memory filled school year. I was happy. I was genuinely happy. not that i was never happy before it happened or anything, but being with Amy made me happy. I don't know why.. but whenever i'm with her, whenever i see her smile or laugh or just when we're holding hands walking in Carmel Mtn... everything felt good. i loved it. i enjoyed it. homecoming was a wonderfully spectacular event. that night was one of the best nights in 2006. homecoming week was filled with gorgeous memories that i would never forget. and then like i said, that afternoon at Carmel Mtn was also a couple of hours that would continually play itself over and over again in my head time and time again, as it did this past weekend.

but that's the thing though. a lot of times during this past 22 days i thought i just really liked spending time with her and i dind't think much of it. however, on Friday, everything changed for me. It wasn't just because we broke up or anything, but obviously that had a lot to do with it, but i think the thing that i really realized through this whole series of events was how much i really liked her. i never understood that. in the years past, i've always thought that liking someone was simply just that you could talk to the person forever and ever and yoou get along really well with them. but nowi have a better understanding of what it actually means. maybe not a perfect understanding, but i think that's what highschool/college/dating is really for. for each person to find out the definition of "affection" or.."caring for someone". but through these past weeks i feel like i've gained a better undersatnding. when you like someone... it's just.. everything seems right when you're with them. and whenever you ARE with them.. it makes you happy on the inside. it makes you warm and fuzzy on the inside, for lack of better illustrative words. but whenever i saw her smile it just made my day that much brighter. whenever i hear her laugh.. it made everything around me that much better.

i dont think i'll be able to get over this for a while. it'll probably stick with me for a long time. as joanne said: "even though it's only 22 days.. it was still a part of your life." bita said the same thing too "this is still going to be a part of your life. it'll stick with you no matter what and only time can heal the wounds." and that's true. but i think. seeing her happier and smiling more. it makes it worth it. i dont mind not being with her.. just as long as she's happy i think. =) because seeing her happy.. makes me happy. i thought that woudln't be the case until today in ASB. when i was helping her set up for the dodgeball tournament we had at lunch. i realized that seeing her not smile.. does not make me feel good in the sense that she's feeling the same pain i am.. but it made me feel even worse that because of certain reasons, because of something i coudln't do for her... she's not happy. but if i could the little things to just make her day a lil better. just to see her smile right ? i'd be content. today afterschoool, at the lockers, she almost forgot her binder. i picked it up for her. smiled and said "you might need that" she turned. smiled and laughed and said "i would have cried.." and seeing her laugh and smile really gave me a genunine joy and happiness deep down.

maybe saying all this just shows how little i understand about "love" "relationship" and what not. but i feel like God's using this whole thing to really teach me to appreciate the people i have around me. the people that supported me through all this. the people that offered constant encouragement and love to keep me going strong. and even the people that din'dt know wat was going on... their lack of knowledge almost seemed like a carefree joy. something i have yet learned to embrace. but as senior year goes on and college apps start to roll at me.. i feel like i have just taken one more step towards knowing what it means to have peace like a river deep down in your soul, as i often teach the preschool kids at church.

truly and surely. when you need it. go to God. go to Jesus and say "Oh my Gosh... Jesus.. I need your help" Jesus will reach out. Pat you on the shoulder. give you a hug. look at you. smile and say "Don't worry.. I got you."

i said i'll post on monday. i lied. i will post now.

saturday.
woke up at 9 something ? curtesy of the rents. which i was alright with i guess. =) we ate breakfast and then went up to LA in my sister's pretty camry. we first went to this Christian bookstore... personally i'm not too big on books. so hahaha i didn't go. i went to this sandwich shop right next to the bookstore and did my math hw while eating a bag of chips and a drink for 2 dollars ! and then we all got hungry so we went to one of the bestest restaurants in LA ever ! we went to Jazz Cat Cafe. that place is FUHREAKING awesome. it has the little hotpots and stuff. i was so excited ! i ordered a Kimchi hotpot with beef and a hongkongstyled-milktea. it was good. VERY VERY good. i was rather satisfied. the family was talking the whole time about random things and i just kept eating. hahaha typical me. and then i ate everyone's rice balls.. hahaha it was good. teehee. then we went to the uhhh bakery shop right next to Jazz Cat and got some bread. random much ? haha but hey. good bread. and then we went to ANOTHER bakery shop to get...more bread ? hahaha yeah we did. i chose this cake thingy that was really colorful. turned out to be really good too. tehehee. after that we hopped down to hong kong plaza to lollicup to get some boba !!! oddly.. i paid. hahaha i was satisfied yet again. =) i got some popcorn chickn and some fried pork blood. sounds gross. looks gross. tastes wonderfully delicious. after that we went to genesis plaza and the new "plaza walk" next to it. where i met this one girl who works in the cell fone store. we were chatting for a while she seemed RELE nice. but she wouldn't give me a free cell fone. and the sad thing is.. i forgot to ask her name and number hahaha what a dumbbutt eh ? so after all the LA-ness we drove down to Irvine to eat at this one chinese restaurant which... apparently only accepts cash ?! hahaha so my dad and i had to go to this one bank to get cash so we can eat there. cept... none of us ate much because we were all full from out day of pure adventure. then we all got home, collapsed and fell asleep. teeheehee

sunday.
after churchness. i left to bball. i went to pick up johnson at his house and then went down to vons to get some propel for the sporting event. i saw AMY !!! hahah that was pretty chill. =) and then later. we went to go pick up Leo. hahaha johnson and Leo are so mean to each other it's kinda funny.. except johnson's a senior so Leo is kinda screwed.. hahahahah so i played like 5 or 6 games. the last game was the best. it was Leo, Leo, William, Johnson, and me. we dominated. hahaha phoenix suns basketball !!! massive fastbreak and "run and gun" it was good. i liked it hahaha especially since i did pretty well *smile*

monday.
my parents and i went to the gym in the morning to like.. workout and stuff. haha it's all good. i'm trying to get a lil excercise in here and there =) i liked it. after lunch and what not. i showered and left for nat's house ! hahaha i got to Nat's house in 20 minutes flat. good stuff if you consider he like lives all the way over THERE. i watched them play supersmash bro. and i watched tim get his butt kicked by david hahaha and then they freaking shaved off half his eyebrow. hahahaha good stuff good stuff. then we watche INfernal Affairs... which i have always thought was a really confusing and weird movie but it's actually pretty good. i think when i get the chance i'm going to watch both the second and third one. hmm =) tehehehehe. ummm then i left the house and went to pick up jessica, rebecca and sarah from their house. so yeah. we were supposed to just get ice cream and chill for like an hour and stuf.. but then.. we ended up going to the beach anyway ?!?!?! hahaha but it was so much fun though. i enjoyed hangings out w/ them. but then when i got them home it was 6:24 and my dad told me to be home at around 6:30. me: crap !! haha so i like sped home like crazy and got to my house in 17 minutes. lol. now.. nat doesn't live far from them... in fact i think they live farther than nat.. yet i got home in less time.. O____O hahaha bad i know but oh well. hahaha

that was the weekend. now a brief overview of the week that followed yeah ?

i realized that senior year isn't all that hard. in fact it's really chill. so far none of my classes are really all that hard. even physics and calculus don't seem that hard. that's a relllleee good thing. so yeah.. this week has been pretty chill. i go through each day like.. ... yeah hahahaha ASB is kinda getting to me. Mr. C doesn't think i do enough.. even though during the past week and including our "unofficial opening day" i've helped out in the student store a total of 3 times. ? but oh well. i'll just do more to show my improvement hahahaha =)

that's pretty much it for now. sdys wasn't so bad. i drove myself lol. that was really cool. i expected SDYS to be even more like.. ewww >______< but it really wasn't ! patty is still pretty chill and what not. it's all good. i expect it to be quite an interesting year.

DUUDE ! I love just randomly going down to the beach and chillaxin for like half an hour. it was sooo fun. i was really happy. hopefully we can do it more often !!!
